getPath

public javax.swing.tree.TreePath getPath(java.lang.String pathText)

Returns a TreePath object made up of the BQTreeNodes that comprise the given path. The path given does not need to start at the root. It can be a subpath under the root. However, the path must be found, without breaks or ommissions, somewhere within the JTree contained in the FileManagerView. If multiple paths under root match the path given, it will return the one that is closest to the root, or the first one listed in the case of multiple equidistant pathes. If it cannot find any portion of the path it will return null.

Please note that this method may fail to find an existing path if there are other directories with the same name as the first directory listed in path. In this case, the algorithm may go down the wrong path, and return null when it finds that path to be incomplete.

getSelectedPath

Note: this method does not guarentee that this is a file and not a directory. It also simply returns the name of the node without any file separator, so there is no indication as to what type of file or directory this is.
